Cegelec has been operating in Portugal since 1986 and this is illustrated mainly in the field of systems automation, whether implemented in industry, gas or water distribution networks, pumping or water treatment stations, tunnels, and so on.
As an integrator of technological systems, Cegelec’s Portuguese subsidiary regularly combines its competencies with those of the German divisions in carrying out international projects such as the design, engineering and commissioning of an RTU software for the natural gas network in Cairo (Egypt), the production and commissioning of an RTU software for the Yamal gas pipeline in Poland or even the engineering of 153 stations for the DEWA water distribution network in Dubai (under way), etc.
In Portugal, Cegelec also has references in the field of infrastructure and services: Transgas, Setgas, Mercedes Benz, Opel, an air base in the Azores, etc.
