Cegelec Sud Ouest is one of the leading players in the provision of technological services to companies and public authorities in the South-Western part of France. With headquarters in Toulouse, Cegelec Sud Ouest employs 2,000 people and has revenues of around 300 million euros and growing. Implemented all over South Western France through 25 different agencies or offices, Cegelec Sud Ouest is present in all the industrial and economic activity centres in the region (Aquitaine, Charentes, Limousin, Midi-Pyrénées and Roussillon), hence offering an unequalled proximity network no competitor can claim.
Cegelec Sud Ouest is particularly active in the fields of energy and electricity, instrumentation, HVAC and mechanical works.
In recent years, Cegelec Sud Ouest has focused its efforts in industrial and building maintenance which currently represents over 25% of its revenues. Mechanical maintenance is of particular importance for some industries such as paper mills, cement works, aerospace and agribusiness, an activity reinforced by the acquisition, in December 2006, of the MGIP company (General and industrial mechanics), located in Périgord, and of A2M, based in Albi, in July 2008.
Several competence centres are located in Toulouse and benefit all the Group’s entities, notably in Defence, wind power and solar energies, telecoms as well as high and low current lines and stations.
Cegelec Sud Ouest is strongly involved in major, high tech projects for which innovation is a key factor. Good examples are the Laser Mégajoule initiative near Bordeaux, or several aeronautical projects such as the different Airbus programmes in Toulouse.
Major Cegelec Sud Ouest customers include Alstom, Airbus, CEA, EDF/RTE, SOFICAR, the cities of Bordeaux, Pau, Perpignan and Toulouse, SMAT, Thales, Total, Alcatel Space, Bouygues Telecom, Orange, ...
