Cegelec is present in the UAE since 1978. Mainly active alongside oil operators in collaboration with the Cegelec Oil & gas teams, the Abu Dhabi subsidiary also works in the fields of energy, transport and non destructive control for example.
In the oil and gas area, Cegelec is now working on numerous sites, hence reflecting the diversity of businesses and services it offers.
For GASCO, Cegelec carries out the installation of a new integrated control system designed for the gas liquefaction plants of Bab and Asab. For ADCO, Cegelec was in charged of the interconnection of the oil fields of Bas, Asab and Buhasa to the national electrical grid.
Cegelec is also responsible for the modernisation of the gas and fire detection systems for ADMA-OPCO, and the renewal HV/LV transformer and the electrical panel on offshore fields in Ulm Shaif and in Zakum.
Alongside these high added-value projects, whether EPCC or revamping for example, Cegelec helps also its customers with technical assistance, commissioning, training or maintenance contracts, as for example with Total ABK where Cegelec is responsible for the offshore maintenance or inside the ENOC refinery for onshore maintenance.
