Cegelec Secure has won the 2010 Security Trophy in the category "best technological innovation from a large group" for the latest version of its integrated electronic security system iPerflex.
Awarded by a jury of 15 business professionals on the occasion of the 5th annual Security Trophies ceremony which took place last 20 September at the Casino de Paris in France, organised by Marc Dumas Conseil with the cooperation of the En Toute Securite trade publication, this Trophy honours a totally redesigned technological platform based on the flexibility of a Web 2.0 environement (light client) and a more powerful hardware architecture, using a single type of electronic card ensuring efficient cost control and enhanced data and communication protection levels.
This 5th edition of the Security Trophies, like the previous ones, rewards the most pertinent security practices implemented during the year 2010. Criteria taken into account by the jury to award a Trophy to iPerflex included in particular "the capability to match market demand, added value compared to existing products, as well as the capability to turn innovation into industrial and commercial success".
Cegelec Secure will present iPerflex at Expoprotection, the exhibition for risk prevention and management to be held from 2 to 5 November in Paris Nord Villepinte.
