Cegelec bolsters its water treatment operations
in the Ile-de-France region

Paris, 14 January 2010

Cegelec, an integrated international group providing technological services
to companies and public authorities and an industry leader in the French
market, has acquired Axeau, based in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine in the
Ile-de-France region.

With an annual revenue of around €10 million, Axeau, specialized in
electro-mechanical systems, which designs, installs and maintains sluices,
bulkhead gates, valves and other screening equipment for water and
wastewater treatment units, strengthens the operations of Cegelec Paris,
the Group’s subsidiary in the metropolitan area. In particular, Axeau has
broad skills and experience with large-scale installations such as gates,
dams, pumping stations and storage ponds, primarily in the Ile-de-France
region, but also elsewhere in France and in other countries.

By bringing in additional expertise, the transaction allows Cegelec to
offer its customers a wider range of services, especially end-to-end water
management solutions.
