Cegelec strengthens ties
with leading French engineering schools

Paris, 19 February 2010

Cegelec, an international group providing technological services to companies and public authorities, strengthened its ties with leading French engineering schools in January 2010 by signing global partnership agreements with Supélec, Arts et Métiers ParisTech and ESTP.

A first for the schools concerned, these agreements define the multiple ties established between Cegelec and each school, as well as the initiatives being developed, in a single, formal document.

The agreements provide the framework for around twenty specific initiatives aimed at current and former students, administrators, teaching staff and Cegelec employees.

The initiatives involving students include forums, conferences, site visits, internships and participation in “junior enterprises” (non-profit organizations that allow students to gain experience in business).

Cegelec is also strengthening its institutional relations with each school by participating in administrative meetings, providing financial support for the schools’ development and contributing to the curriculum.

The involvement of school graduates and Cegelec employees adds an extra dimension to the agreements, making them particularly beneficial for all.

Cegelec intends to sign similar agreements with other engineering schools in the coming months, in France and in other countries.
