Aerospace

Leveraging its vast experience and innovative solutions, Cegelec has partnered the French space industry for more than 40 years, from its beginnings in the Sahara and then in Kourou, French Guyana, when the current Guyana Space Centre was built in 1968. Working for both French space agency CNES and Arianespace, we have contributed to the Guyana Space Centre’s worldwide reputation for excellence by participating in all of its ground infrastructure projects and by maintaining and operating the ground facilities for both satellites and launchers.

Today, Cegelec subsidiaries operate in nearly all of the European Space Agency’s member countries. In 2001, we created Cegelec Space, a jointly owned subsidiary of Cegelec Germany (which holds a majority stake) and Cegelec France, in order to reduce costs and facilitate technology transfers by combining the expertise of our dedicated German, French, Austrian and Dutch teams.

Cegelec is recognised as the benchmark provider of services for ground support equipment, with capabilities ranging from fluid mechanics and instrumentation to HVAC, power and energy, test beds, telecoms and telemetry. We are the only company in the aerospace market to offer such multidisciplinary expertise.

As a systems and service integrator, we offer the flexibility and responsiveness demanded by major projects. One of our major strengths is a worldwide network of partners that we can call upon at any time. This means that local reinforcements can be quickly deployed whenever needed.
