Our multi-technical capabilities and extensive know-how have made us a partner to some of the world’s leading carmakers, including BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, General Motors, PSA Peugeot-Citroën, Renault, Seat and Volvo.

Time and time again, Cegelec has demonstrated the ability to combine its skills into effective solutions delivered on-site around the world. To build the welding lines for the Opel Astra, for example, we set up a European organisation under a common management, which partially pre-assembled the components in France before installing them at production plants in Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom.

Thanks to our longstanding relationship with PSA Peugeot-Citroën in France and other countries, we also played a major role in the design and construction of the automaker’s new plant in Trnava, Slovakia. Our local subsidiary, created to carry out the project, delivered our solutions to very tight deadlines, demonstrating our ability to successfully manage a large-scale project.

Our performance, along with our constant concern for health and safety, has earned us a number of prestigious honours and prizes. In particular, Cegelec was named “Contractor of the Year” by UK carmaker Vauxhall Motors Ltd.
