Electrical engineering, project management and systems integration are the building blocks of Cegelec’s corporate DNA. We draw on our long history in these areas of expertise to deliver a wide range of solutions across the energy chain, from studies and design to coordination, construction, equipment purchasing and installation. We also operate and maintain all types of facilities and electrical and electro-mechanical networks.
Our portfolio includes projects for power plants that generate electricity from renewable energies, fossil fuels and nuclear power; substations; high voltage lines; distributed control systems; electrical networks and general electrical contracting (public lighting, auxiliary systems and electrical installations).

We specialise in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for power plants that run on fossil fuels, such as open-cycle gas turbine plants, and renewable energies, such as wind farms, medium-sized hydroelectric plants and photovoltaic arrays. We also offer turnkey installation of high-voltage substations.
We are widely recognised for our expertise in delivering and programming distributed control systems (DCS) and for our knowledge of the underlying processes.
Lastly, we serve industry, local communities and the services sector as a major Balance of Plant (BOP) contractor for all types of power plants, including nuclear, combined-cycle, steam and renewable.
In addition to new-build work, we refurbish and upgrade existing power plants, with a focus on control systems. Our CEM unit also delivers a wide range of electro-mechanical services for fossil-fuel, hydroelectric and nuclear power plants, including maintenance tooling and servicing of alternators.
