Hydroelectric power stations in Morocco

Cegelec has been actively involved in the construction of two new hydroelectric power stations in Tanafnit (2 x 9.3 MW) and El Borj (2 x 11.7 MW) in Morocco, as part of the programme initiated by ONE, the country's National Electricity Board, to develop electrical power supply equipment in the region.

Under the leadership of Va Tech Escher Wyss GmbH and in partnership with Koncar GIM, Cegelec has been entrusted with the general technical coordination of the electromechanical section of these two power plants.
