In a landmark event, a membrane filtration wastewater treatment plant has been built in the French coastal town of Locquirec in western Brittany. Cegelec is one of the first companies to install this type of treatment system in France. An innovative technology developed from drinking water purification methods, membrane filtration has been chosen as a solution to protect the town’s swimming and surfing areas.
