Cegelec has fulfilled an order to build a new, environmentally friendly wastewater treatment plant with solar sludge drying capabilities. Serving a population equivalent of 5,600, the plant is located in the town of Louannec in western Brittany, France. This cutting-edge facility has been designed to comply with environmental regulations and to limit noise and odour pollution, nitrogen and phosphorus discharges and final sludge volume. In addition, its buildings blend seamlessly into its surroundings. Cegelec has successfully met all of the challenges associated with the project.
