In February 2005, Cegelec delivered to the Army an initial batch of 159 command post modular shelters. A second series of 156 shelters will be delivered by the end of 2005. These shelters facilitate the deployment of command posts at interarmy or combined outside operating theatres. They are equipped and fitted out by Cegelec, depending on their intended use, with electrical equipment, video control rooms, computer networks, air conditioning, furniture and sanitation facilities. These deliveries fall within the scope of a service contract with conditional batches on behalf of the DGA/SPART (Land Weaponry Programmes Division) representing a total of 738 shelters for an amount in excess of 60 million euro.
