Cegelec has more than thirty years’ experience in the field of control systems for power generation stations. Cegelec has developed an integrated DCS (Distributed Control System) solution combining robustness and flexibility, and offering all the functionalities specific to the user’s requirements.
This solution is efficiently implemented by Cegelec’s specialised teams who combine the process competencies of the main types of generation units, for new power stations or those undergoing refurbishment. Cegelec responds specifically to its clients’ requirements, for example by integrating the historically present systems during a refurbishment or by integrating steam consumers with the process control systems when installing a co-generation system.
Cegelec has a great many references in the field of control systems. Thus, Cegelec has recently been entrusted with the updating and extension of a control system at an existing coal-fired power station in Belgium that has been converted to biomass, and with the modernisation, in Ruien, in the east of the country, of the whole monitoring and control of an 860 MW coal-fired power station.
