Already holding a 9-month « classical » contract, the Cegelec Parisian subsidiary won the global management of public lighting in Bessancourt (Val d'Oise) - from installation to energy purchase - for the 2006-2013 period. Adhering to the European Commission Greenlight programme, Cegelec commit itself to foster smart lighting, environment respect, consumption management, sensible energy purchasing and cost reduction. The centralisation of all contracts by Cegelec will enable the city to realise savings on functioning, which can be reinvested in the enhancing of the inhabitants' quality of life.
