Cegelec addresses telecoms operators for the infrastructure of their mobile (GSM, UMTS) and fixed (cable, DSL, DWDM, SDH) networks, including the locating and negotiation of installation sites, and their installation, design, construction, management and maintenance.

Companies and public authorities call on Cegelec for their data networks, their voice networks (traditional telephony, PABX-type or telephony on IP) and some of their IT services.

Cegelec has also developed particular expertise in "Network Operation Centres " (NOC), particularly in Germany.

Orderers in the telecoms field increasingly wish to concentrate on their service and equipment provision. With this in mind, Cegelec, which embraces all the required competencies in electricity, telecoms, structures, service roads and networks and engineering, is able to offer its clients a range of global services, extending from design to the installation and maintenance of the infrastructures.

In order to be able to offer its client «turnkey» solutions of this kind, Cegelec has developed a policy of partnership with major equipment and technology suppliers including Alcatel and Lucent.
