Cegelec has recently delivered the whole electrotechnical infrastructure of the new control and management centre of the German Railway (DB) electricity network in Karlsruhe.
In less than 18 months and without holding up the traffic at any time, the Cegelec teams implemented a technical solution based on its ViewStar 2000 technology, enabling to daily manage 17,000 different information and to replace an activity that was until then still largely manual by automated processes.
After the centres of Leipzig and Berlin, the German subsidiary is presently in charge of the modernisation of the centre of Munich.
