Thanks to the synergies put in place between its core competence of " water treatment " and its New Caledonian subsidiary, Cegelec has been awarded the extension of the Anse Vata treatment plant, from 7,000 to 25,000 equivalent inhabitants, in Noumea. The analysis and proposal from Cegelec went far beyond the initial requirement, with regard to compliance with environmental constraints. After the Punaauia plant in French Polynesia, Cegelec is thus taking on the biggest treatment plant in New Caledonia.
