Germany

Cegelec has a long history in Germany. Its roots are to be found in AEG and the acquisition, in 1996, of its division « Systems & Services ».

Today, the company, where the headquarter is located in Frankfurt, is organized around four regional subsidiaries in Germany (Essen, Berlin, Hannover, Frankfurt) and one in Austria (Vienna). 30 different locations and 2,000 people guarantee proximity with customers over the two countries.


Cegelec's sector activities in Germany are industry, infrastructure and energy.
Cegelec's german projects include the command-control, the runway lights and the luggage sorting of the Frankfurt Airport, the Elb tunnel in Hamburg, the new football stadiums in Frankfurt, Cologne and Leipzig, the convoying system of the Opel company in Bochum, the installations power currents of the Magdeburg University Hospital, the RWE Power AG open cast mine in Hambach, Schrim AG in Schönebeck, the first biomass power plant of the Lower-Sachsen in Papenburg, as well as E-Plus and other mobile telephone operators. Cegelec has also been entrusted with the maintenance of the banknote sorting systems for the Deutschen Bundesbank.
