Switzerland

Cegelec has been established in Switzerland for ten years. At the beginning of the 1990s, after having carried out a number of operations for the chemical industries and started up a systems engineering activity for tunnels, Cegelec created its own local subsidiary to speed up its development on Swiss soil.

Cegelec counts approximately one hundred members of staff in Switzerland and is present in Geneva, where its head office is located, as well as in Monthey in the canton of Valais/Wallis.

Cegelec in Switzerland has developed skills in the fields of:

Road and rail transport infrastructures throughout the whole of Switzerland: electromechanical equipment, video surveillance and security system installations, command and control systems, traffic management systems for motorways and tunnels.

• supervision system for Loetschberg railway tunnel
• supervision system for the motorways of the cantons of Neufchatel and Fribourg
• management systems for road traffic equipment in numerous tunnels of the canton of Vaud
