Cegelec's many references in Algeria mainly concern the oil and gas sector: Sonelgaz, Stroytransgaz, Sonatrach (scada for the oil wells, sectoring of oil plants), Kanaghaz (pipeline scadas), Naftec (refinery revamping), Hamra (maintenance of gas turbines), etc.

Cegelec has been present in Algeria for many years and has built up a substantial portfolio of clients that led it to develop its subsidiary in Algiers. With Naftec, a subsidiary of Sonatrach, Cegelec has signed an important contract : for the renovation and the expansion of the power network of the refinery in Arzew near to Oran. Sonatrach has also entrusted several sectoring contracts : almost 25 compression and pumping stations. Likewise, after realized the whole electrical, IT and safety installations at the new terminal of the international Algiers airport, Cegelec has been entrusted with associated maintenance services.

Keeping in the infrastructure sector, the subsidiary has realized installations for the telecoms (Mobilis, Ndjema, Ericson) and for Algérie Telecoms. Cegelec in Algeria is also the main partner of the Société des Eaux and the Assainissement d'Alger for the modernization of the water network in the city.

Recently, the winning of the electrotechnical infrastructures of tunnels on the coming East-West motorway confirms the growing importance of the Algerian subsidiary and the expertise of the teams.
