Cegelec has been present in Singapore for 40 years, and is a renowned player in the infrastructure and water fields with clients as important as the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and the Public Utilities Board (PUB), the two Singaporean authorities which manage municipal transport and water treatment and distribution respectively.
Cegelec is responsible for electrical distribution and, in part, for ventilation of almost all the Circle Line metro stations. Cegelec had already taken on responsibility for the design and installation of the electrical systems of the 6 stations of Singapore's Marina Line metro line
(see www.transport.cegelec.com).
In the water treatment sector, PUB has entrusted Cegelec with major electricity and maintenance work in the Ulu Pandan retreatment plant and in the Bedok pumping station.
In addition to its competences in these two fields, Cegelec is offering its services in maintenance, HVAC and SCADA control systems. It also has a position in the building market (The Central, Marina Boulevard, Fusionpolis).
Since 1996, Cegelec's subsidiary in Singapore has been certified ISO 9001 for installation and maintenance operations.
In late 2003, Cegelec chose to set up its international purchasing office for the Asia zone in Singapore.
