Morocco

Since its creation in 1946, Cegelec's subsidiary in Morocco has supported the country's economic and technological development. The largest subsidiairy outside Europe by its revenues (over 800 M Dihram, or 71 million euros, and orders growing by over 20%), Cegelec is also one of the group's largest companies by its headcount with a staff of 1,700, out of which 105 engineers and managers.

Historical partner of the big Moroccan companies (ONE, OCP, ONEP, SAMIR, etc), leader for many years in the electrical engeneering sectors, Cegelec in Morocco has varied with the passing years his activities in many other fields.

The company has therefore gained strong recommendations in global and industrial maintenance, in control systems and automation of factory sites, in teleprocessing of the drinkable water supply, in telecommunications or in HVAC.

Among prestigious projects led by the Moroccan subsidiary, we could mention the electrification of the coming tramway in Rabat, the industrial maintenance of both rafineries in Morocco (SAMIR), electricity and HVAC of the vast Mazagan Hotel in El Jadida and of the Mamounia, electrification of more than 4,000 villages, strengthening of the electrical interface with 190 Km of power lines 400 kV turnkey (ONE), etc.
