Present in Nigeria for over twenty years and contributing to the development of the federal state capital Abuja, Cegelec has focused its activites in recent years in the oil&gas sector and significantly strengthened its local presence in partnership with Prime Atlantic.

Cegelec adapted and expanded an educational institution in Ogere, 89 km north-east of Lagos, since end of 2005, to meet its customers' requirements. This centre, meeting the OPITO standards, has trained some 350 maintenance operators and technicians on behalf of Chevron and Total these last three years. Cegelec tripled the residential capacity of this centre, today comprising 212 rooms, and has built some 2,000 sq. m. of workshops, training rooms, offices, etc. The organisation counts 40 trainers and administrative staff and offers since 2009 an "a la carte" system offering increased flexibility and opportunities for company located in and outside Nigeria.

Cegelec is also involved in a series of projects in this country for leading oil and gas companies. The Group also provides technical assistance, among which for Mobil and Total, commissioning works as well as maintenance.
