Cegelec Saudi is a joint venture between Cegelec and Shoaibi Group, one of the leading oil and gas service providers in Saudi Arabia.

The company operates from its headquarters in Al Khobar (Eastern province), aiming to support national and international operators as well as EPC contractors in the oil, gas and petrochemical fields, offshore and onshore.

The company's core businesses are splitted into:
- project activities (LSTK contract focusing on electrical, instrumentation, control systems, telecommuni'cation activities)
- services (technical assistance, global commissioning, long term global maintenance contracts, global training related to electro-mechanical scopes)
- products (shelter analysers, architecture and ergonomics design of control buildings and rooms, scada systems)

In December 2010, Cegelec was entrusted by Samsung with an EPC contract to integrate five shelter analysers for the new SATORP refinery located in Jubail.

Alongside those activities in oil and gas, Cegelec is working with key accounts in Energy, Infrastructure, Mobility and Security. A good example is the order received in January 2011 from GCCIA (Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Authority) to secure several 400kV substations in the Kingdom and other Middle East countries.
